Borovets

Borovets is Bulgaria's oldest ski resort, set in a pine forest in the Rila Mountains, about 70 km from Sofia and close to the town of Samokov. It is known for runs between the trees, a gondola from the resort itself and an easy transfer from Sofia airport, which makes it a convenient choice for short breaks.
